The text is the first Italian translation of a rather religious Persian poem, supposedly composed in XI century by Naser-e Khosrow, a poet and philosopher and Ishmaelitic missionary. The editor examines some typological and structural aspects and reviews the themes and the dominating motives of this work. Judging from the evident popular intent and the eminently didactic style, it seems to be a kind of "catechism in verses". In it one can discover some concepts already present in the Ishmaelitic neoplatonizing “Encyclopedia of the Purity Brothers” (X c.).
